“An early encounter with a book by Henri Cartier-Bresson titled The Early Work. Texts by Peter Galassi, enabled me to conduct an extensive re-search to scratch out a way to my destination.
“Growing up, I spent a major part of my childhood around nature and in travelling. All these experiences, and opportunities made me want to capture everything I saw and felt.
“For as long as I can remember, visual arts has predominantly been my field of interest. Initially, I was keen about excelling in animation.
For Mumbai based commercial photographer Harika Chanana, the camera has been the object of her affection for the last three years.
“I consider myself extremely privileged to be able to see the world as a photographer. I make time to disconnect from my mundane urban existence, to create opportunities to be one with nature, witness different ways of life, and discover myself.
